EXPERIENCE10+ Years

I'm Engr. Owolabi Yussuf Kehinde, a technology professional working at the intersection of network engineering, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, digital transformation and product development.

HOW I WORK
FOUNDATION

My engineering background taught me how systems work.

OPERATIONS

My experience in IT operations taught me what happens when they fail.

LEADERSHIP

My work in risk, product and digital management taught me that successful technology is ultimately about people, processes and outcomes.

Technology should make organizations more capable — not more complicated.

/ WHAT DRIVES MY WORK

I enjoy problems where technology has real operational consequences.

A network that cannot fail during an examination.

A platform that thousands of students need to access.

A security policy that must protect users without preventing them from doing their jobs.

A digital system that replaces hours of repetitive administrative work.

Those are the environments where I do my best work.

/ MY JOURNEY
01

Engineering Foundation

My career began with Electrical & Electronics Engineering, developing a strong foundation in systems, communications and analytical problem-solving.

02

Networks & Infrastructure

I moved deeper into networking, infrastructure administration and IT support, working with enterprise networking technologies and large user environments.

03

Security & Risk

As the environments became larger, security, operational risk and resilience became increasingly important parts of my work.

04

Digital Transformation

I subsequently worked on institution-scale digital initiatives involving Microsoft 365, virtual learning, automation and technology adoption.

05

Building Products

Today, I also build practical software products and EdTech solutions that solve problems beyond traditional infrastructure.

/ BEYOND INFRASTRUCTURE

Education Technology

I'm particularly interested in how digital infrastructure can improve learning and administration across African institutions. Technology in education shouldn't simply copy systems designed for other environments.

/ LEADERSHIP PHILOSOPHY

I believe strong technology leadership requires three things:

Technical depth

Understanding enough of the system to make good decisions.

Operational discipline

Building processes that keep systems dependable after deployment.

Human understanding

Helping users and teams understand, adopt and maintain the solution.

Outside the Server Room

I also enjoy mentoring, training, community development, product experimentation and exploring how emerging technologies can solve practical African problems.
